This large Victorian house in North Oxford Conservation area was converted into flats - one at each floor.

This first floor flat had only one bedroom. The new extension - on the top of existing flat roof at the side of the house - provided a study bedroom with a timber balcony. Another, guest bedroom was gained by dividing the existing bathroom. The compact bathroom, to which a high level window was added at the side of the house has been supplemented by an addition of a new cloakroom at the stair landing. The kitchen was modernised and a large built-in cupboard provides out-of-sight storage which had been lacking before.
